Moving to another country is a difficult decision to make, specially if, like me, you have three young kids. The expat process is never easy, but Turkey is such a complex country, with continuous regulatory changes and a very tough bureaucracy, that I would say that it is IMPOSSIBLE to successfully move without the help of a good relocation agency. Recently my husband was relocated from Canada to Istanbul Turkey. His employer contracted the services of a relocation management service, TRMS. To assist us in setting up our utilities, phone, TV and internet, managing partner obtained a power of attorney for my husband so the company could arrange the accounts and services on his behalf.
